Serene Surroundings, Splendid Service!
My mother and I spent a fantastic weekend away at the Hunter Valley Retreat over the Easter Break. The staff were absolutely amazing. Meals at the restaurant were of Michelin Star quality (the sticky date pudding was absolutely to DIE FOR). The rooms were clean, neat and cozy. We especially enjoyed relaxing out on the deck, which overlooked the beautiful surrounding bush-land. Thanks again for providing us with a much-needed relaxing get-away. We will definitely be back soon!
Fantastic
It is an excellent place to spend holidays with your family. The manager and the staff were very courteous and friendly. The rooms are nice and clean with forest views. Enjoyed our stay during this Easter break.
Amazing Service & Peaceful Getaway
My partner and I stayed at the Hunter valley Retreat for a small getaway for the weekend. The moment we arrived we felt warm and welcomed by the manager, which was continued throughout our whole stay. Our one bedroom apartment was very quaint and cosy, it featured an amazing deck overlooking the spectacular bush view. Breakfast and Dinner was delicious, not to mention the staff were so friendly and helpful with any requests that you needed to be met. Overall it was an amazing peaceful weekend, I would highly recommend to friends and family.
Great value and great staff
We stayed at the retreat for the Bruce Springsteen concert. It’s a great place. Nothing fancy but clean quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was awesome. Real bacon and perfectly poached eggs. The manager was fantastic. Stayed up with us after the concert to make sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was a problem. Will definitely stay there again and will recommend to everyone.
For Peace and Quiet
Manager was great from check in to check out. Was able to cater to my silly dietary needs and made great recommendations for places to see for the non drinker 🙂 When we made a comment about the family staying in the villa next to us he immediately moved us to the other side of the property to the quietest location he had. Just amazing.
